19th February 2021 - An update from SGN Gas Network

Upper Horsebridge Road: Our engineers continue to upgrade our network in Upper Horsebridge Road between London Road to Hawks Road. For everyone’s continued safety, our temporary traffic lights remain in place around our site.

Grove Hill: I’m pleased to report that we have completed our engineering works in Grove Hill, ahead of schedule.

In agreement with East Sussex County Council, on Monday 22 February we will safely reopen Grove Hill and the team will move onto Mill Lane. For approximately 5 weeks, our engineers will be upgrading our network from the junction with Grove Hill to property Swingate Gardens.

For everyone’s safety, we will close this section of Mill Lane and a signed diversion will be in place via Park Road and Station Road.

We would like to thank residents, businesses and road users for their continued patience and understanding while we carry out this essential work.
