  • What's on

This is a mass walk to demonstrate our support for the application to have the wood declared an Asset of Community Value (ACV) which will enable us to delay the sale for up to six months. We also hope to have BBC. South East and the local press in attendance.

To create maximum impact we would like the car park full of people, 100+ expected, and would ask that you car share as much as possible and after dropping off any passengers, kindly park safely on the road, or in the NHS. Car park on the Roebuck Park Estate. PLEASE DO NOT park in estate residents parking bays. Parking marshals will be on hand to assist and advise at both car parks.

There is afootpath into the wood at the rear of the NHS car park, a left turn and a short walk will bring you to the Grove Hill assembly area.

We are expecting over 100 people to be assembled in the car park on the day and I would ask that you seriously consider leaving dogs at home.

A good turn out is essential to our cause and I would ask you not to be put off by inclement weather and minor parking difficulties. Any problems, suggestions, or offers of help would be most welcome.
